About Me

As I woke from the cloud of the first year of motherhood, I became interested in capturing the amazement and innocence found in a child’s eyes. Children express their emotions in a way that adults do not. Every look they give is fresh and new and amazing at the same time, even if it is a bad one! It is impossible to remember everything about your child – they change too quickly – from the things they try to say, the sound of their voice, the color of their hair, everything about them changes as they grow. With my own son, I am always trying to capture the way he looks right then in the moment, so I won’t forget.

I am originally from central Illinois, but have lived in New Orleans for over 10 years. New Orleans is a wonderful city that I love. My husband, son and I are proud to live here and contribute to the on-going rebuilding effort of the city.
